Looking for a cool and cosy open-space hangout place in London? Try Pop Brixton!
We spent our last Sunday of September 2018 to explore south part of London. We took Victoria line tube from Kings Cross station just went down south until the end of the line.
Brixton, is the last stop of Victoria line southbound. Brixton was known as one of the most dangerous place in London, but now I believe things has improved there. We went there around lunch time without any plan ahead. The first place we visited when we left the station was a local shopping centre that has big SALE signs. After spending some time to get warmed and buy things I don’t need, we walked around the Brixton area and found an interesting Farmer’s Market.
Not far from the Farmer’s Market, we spotted one very interesting place called “Pop Brixton” that the design seems inspired by the arts of containers [again].
Pop Brixton is more family-friendly compared to the other similar places like this, such as Boxpark and Dinerama (both within the Shoreditch area London). Pop Brixton is not only serving drinks but it also has lots of food options as well. Furthermore, there are also some small clothing stalls, barbershop, and a very amazing Japanese knife shop.
I definitely recommend everyone to give this place a visit! Whether you are a youngster, young parents, or even seniors! This place is for everyone.
Enjoy your new hangout spot in London and let me know your thoughts!
